Single “Reborn” is out now
Reborn began as a simple idea almost five years ago. I recorded the main riff on my phone and saved it with other unfinished thoughts, but this one felt different—I knew immediately it would become a full song. After Human Islands was released, I started shaping ideas for the next album, and while most needed time, Reborn was already there. It’s dedicated to the person closest to me and a bond that keeps transforming, growing, and shining. This is also my first song without electric guitars.
As always, I would like to thank my friend and bandmate Mario Ullrich not only for the excellent bass line, but also for recording, mixing and mastering the song. His ideas and vision also perfectly matched my expectations of how it should sound. It’s really cool that we’re always on the same wavelength when it comes to music.
